Archon Aereth, Archon Vetash and Primeval Elements
The Archons are located in Geomancer's Citadel, on the coast in the Northern part of the zone. They live at the top of two towers located across from the home of Sarek the Betrayer.
They drop some terrific gear, most notable of which are the breastplates for tanks:
* Worldbreaker BP (25 heal bp for warrior);
* Grundleskin BP (poor mans version of BPOA for pally); and
* Traitorous BP (25 heal BP for sk)
Further, they are fun to farm because both archon's hearts are needed ingredients in the Sarek the Betrayer portal quest. At the conclusion of collecting all the items, you get a self port to StB. It's recommended if a mage is with you, let him farm the hearts and create the port because then it's easier with him cohing everyone in for the raid.
There are two Archons. Archon Aereth and Archon Vetash.
Archon Aereth
is in the south tower. Kill your way in, don't loot mobs, and use the portal on your right. The left portal goes to Primeval Elemental (earth).
This mob can be one grouped with a faithful resist, tank, nec (for pacting rest of group), and other dd. Tank needs max PR (see mob resists) and high agi/ac. Without max PR, the poison tick can be up to 2500 . Before the battle, stack everyone against the back wall, as far from Archon Aereth as possible. The tank will run forward and spin the mob away from the group so hopefully her AoE will not hit anyone but the tank.
When the tank engages, Archon Aereth will cast her AoE poison DoT/debuff. The AoE of this spell surrounds the target (ie. The tank) not the Archon herself; so the other members of the party will not be hit by it if everyone is positioned properly. With max PR, her AE will tick a level 60 tank for 300-500 . The debuff affect of her AoE drops your agility, so to counter this the tank needs to overmax agi, otherwise you can feel her melee quads.
Archon Aereth doesn't have a lot of HPs, she'll drop quick.
Note: Another strategy is send a tank through the portals to the point where you can spawn the Archon. Get a coh back to your group outside at the base of the tower. Find some rocks to hide behind to shelter from the Aoe. Then take a petter, go up outside side of the tower and con the archon. Get as close as you can and then send your pet into attack; immediately run back to where your group has set up. At that point, the tank can take aggro and all others can take shelter behind the rocks nearby. Send pets in and kill mob, mt tanks, pacters pact, it's done. This is a little more tricky but is a great way to tank the mt while protecting your dds and healers.
Archon Vetash
is located in the north tower. Kill your way in, don't loot, and take the right portal. The left portal goes to Primeval Elemental (fire).
This mob can be one grouped with a faithful resist, tank, nec (for pacting rest of group), and other dd, although he's a lot tougher than Archon Aereth. Tank needs max FR/AR (see mob resists). Before the battle, stack everyone against the back wall, as far from Archon Vetash as possible. The tank can run forward to engage Vetash, while everyone else trys to stay as far away as possible (heals and pacts will reach across the room).
Vetash has an AR based nuke for 1500, with max AR this can be resisted well. He also has a long range FR based AoE that ticks; all members of your group should have as high FR as possible. This AoE is unavoidable in the room, your entire party will take the hit, your cleric will be busy.
Vetash has weak melee attacks, but has more HPs than Archon Aereth so takes longer to down. Resists are key to your success.

Primeval Elementals
There are two, both are called Primeval Elementals but one resembles a Fire Primeval Elemental and the other a Earth Primeval Elemental.
The Fire Primeval is located in the north tower, the Earth Primeval is located in the south tower. In both cases, use the left portal if you wish to port up. The right portal takes you to the archon.
If they are up, you can run up the outside of the tower, send in a pet and haul ass back to your group with the Elemental breathing down your nec. The Fire Elemental can be one grouped with a resist cleric, but he is a beast - a few more friends would be welcome. The Earth primeval is a MONSTER -huge unresistable nuke that does around 11k. He's almost impossible to one group tank but it's not to bad to pet him. Get two pets on your bar, do NOT buff them, and just send them in. Resist cleric is CRITICAL.
