Path Quests Empty Path Quests

Quest Name: Group 5, Level 30
NPC: Director Holman
Location: Zentar's Keep



Requirements: Lvl 30 and completion of your Level 20 Path Quest

Talk to Director Holman at Zenter's keep, Holman can be found at the foot of that very tall statue, near the coach. Holman needs you to obtain three items; a Thulian circlet, wraps of Bertoxxulous, and a hatesplint tunic. There are three NPCs here at Zenter's Keep who will give you clues to who and where you need to go for each item, although I don't think it's necessary to speak with them to 'advance' your quest;

·Mystic Horga; west of coach.
·Sorceress D'Nedra; west of coach on 3rd floor.
·Warlord Honan; Northeast on top of wall.

*** Note: You can talk to these three NPCs at once, while at Zenter's Keep.

Thulian Circlet
Talk to Mystic Horga, he sends you to Freeport to talk to a gnome merchant, Twindle Fizzmop. Twindle admits he has the circlet, but will only sell it for $1,600 and a scared monarch. Go to Mayfly Glade (W) and kill a Monarch Butterfly (CON blue to 30), easy kill, but Monarchs will swarm you. Return to Fizzmop and collect the Thulian circlet and 350,000xp.

Wraps of Bertoxxulous
Talk to Warlord Honan, he sends you to the Salt Mines to talk to Slave Master Hern (if he won't talk to you). Slave Master Hern can be found in Salt Mines (W) in a castle on a hill, he is standing near the north wall. Slave Master is concerned about the lack of manpower and wants three bar patrons. Go to Qeynos, north of the coach is an Inn. Go into the Inn and wait for Lora Greyson (CON blue to 30) to show up. Kill Lora, she is a easy kill. Wait again until she spawns again, and kill her again. Do this one more time till you have three bar patrons collected in your inventory.

Return to Slave Master Hern and collect the wraps of Bertoxxulous, +50 faction with Caer Sloth and 350,000xp.

Hatesplint Tunic
Talk to Sorceress D'Nedra, she sends you to Fort Seriak to talk to J'Lisa U'Dedane. U'Dedane is west of coach. U'Dedane wants a gem from Quicktoe, a Halfling. Quicktoe can be found at the bottom of a pit in Runnyeye. Go to Runnyeye Citidal, use invis to enter. Enter the main gate, go forward past a door and 2 more sentries, turn left, turn left again, and when you come to the first bridge crossing - jump all the way down. CLICK FOR MAP
When you hit bottom, you may be jumped by several mobs. Kill them and then face the ramps heading to the left and right. Go up the right ramp, one level, into the west tunnel. In this tunnel you will get a popup message saying there is a fight going on. This fight involves Quicktoe (CON yel to 30) and three goblins (CON blue to 30). You can let him kill the three goblins and then kill him, or just kill them all. Keep in mind, Quicktoe hits hard and heals. However you do it, you need to kill Quicktoe for the gem he has.
Note: Sometimes Quicktoe does not have the gem on him, and you have to wait on the respawn.

Return to J'Lisa U'Dedane with the U'dedne gem and collect the hatesplint jerkin, +50 faction with House U'Dedne, and 350,000xp.


QUEST COMPLETION
Now you should have three reward items; Circlet, Wraps, Tunic. Return to Director Holman for your final reward. He will send you to Warlord Honan (Warriors), Mystic Horga (Shaman), Sorceress G'Nera (Wizard) or Sorceress Nime (Alchemist) for your PATH reward!
You will receive: 7,890,859xp

Quest Name: Group 5, Level 40
NPC: Director Holman
Location: Zentar's Keep





Requirements: Lvl 40 and completion of your Level 30 Path Quest

Talk to Director Holman, he sends you to Zentar Reese at the top of the keep. To find Zentar, go up the south ramp past the spiritbinder and keep going up to the top.

Zentar has seen a vision of the Unkempt Wood twisted and in ruin. He has a plan but needs your help. He requires the blood of his line, but has no intention of hurting himself so he sends you to kill his son, Carrick Reese.

Carrick Reese & his Blood
Carrick can be found among the elves of Mariel (Mariel Village (C)). Find a small elven tree village, Reese's son (CONs LB) is in one of the trees with two elfs, they don't argo. When Reese's health gets low, he will SOW up and run into the wilderness, you must kill him fast! Kill, loot his body and return to Zentar.

Once you have killed Carrick Reese, you are to bring his body to Mystic Horga (same building as Zentar, on lower floor), the Troll master shaman of the keep. Mystic Horga will then drain the corpse of its blood and give you a bottle of the blood. Now, since Carrick wasn't evil, his blood must be corrupted to match his father's. You must bring the blood to Hierophant Koligo, a powerful shaman in Grobb, so he can do this. To find Koligo, enter Grobb; at the river make a right and pass under the tree, when you come out make another right and pass under the tree, when you come out make another right and take the next right through a tree entrance to find him (or, in otherwords, take a right, just before the bank). The Hierophant wants two items to transform the blood of Zentar's son into something that resembles his father's blood.

The Sceptre of Tal'Thaz
This sceptre is an ancient Elven artifact, which can be bought (3,000tunar) in Freeport from Twindle Fizzmop, who is near the bank. He will offer you TWO scepters, the cheap one is fake.

The Bonecaster's Censer
A censer of the Bonecasters from Guk Dungeon. Go north to Guk, invis up, enter the tunnels, make way down, and make left turns; basically just go left off the circle room. Soon, you should find some Heart Spiders near some Bonecasters. Make your way into the very last room, it deads ends there. A pop up box will appear in the last room. Choose take the censer.

Head back to Grobb, talk to the Hierophant who will corrupt Carrick's blood and then send you back to Reese. Map of Guk Dungeon

Zentar's Plan
Talk to Reese. He fills you in on the rest of his plan. Nature's Altar, a druidic holy site, plays a key part in keeping the forest lush and verdant. Zentar wants you to perform a ritual that will defile the alter, kill the forest's guardian, and plant a fruit that will grow into a corrupted great tree.

He sends you to kill three Forces of Nature (CONs wht to yel) for their essences, Sun, Soil, Rain. Coach to Wyndhaven, go north and stay kind of close to the shoreline. When you enter Mariel Village zone make way east. There is a large mountain chain that runs east-west, you need to be on the north side of these mountains running eastward. You will eventually run into the Forces of Nature in Twisted Tower (C ). Kill, loot the three essences.

Take the three essences, and the blood, and head direct north to Unkempt Glade (C ). Find a druid camp, dug into the ground, there is a road heading north out of that camp. Follow the road a very short way, looking northwest you should see a large hill, go up and over it, on the otherside you will see a lake with a island in the center, a tree is on the island. Approach the tree, you will get a popup, the tree takes the three essences, and you are gifted with the golden fruit.

Now that you have the fruit, travel to Nature's Altar and place it there. From the tree on the island, get back to road you were on, southeast from that tree. Follow that road north, which leads from that dug out druid camp. The road leads to a Druid tree village. The Altar is east of the road, right before the village, on a large hill with a Stonehenge circle. Approach the center of the Stonehenge circle. You will get a popup, pour Carrick's blood over the altar, which spawns a tree, Oakhollow (CONs red). Kill, loot heart, approach the altar again, you will get another popup, choose break the heart.

QUEST COMPLETION
Return to Zentar for your reward of 14,919,719xp and:
Alchemist: Professor's Knack OR Neriak Cocktail
Shaman: spirit focus and darkflame club OR wilting wind and darkflame spear
Warrior: howl and calamitous falchion OR pillar of force and calamitous poleaxe
Wizard: freezing clash and blightbringer's staff OR mental boost and blightbringer's want

Quest Name: Group 5, Level 49
NPC: Zentar Reese
Location: Zentar's Keep





Requirements: Lvl 49 and completion of your Level 40 Path Quest

*NOTE Ensure you have plenty of space in your inventory! Save everything that any NPC gives you until you have your FINAL rewards and your FINAL Path ability! Once you get approved for your three paths choices, then you can safely delete all those useless items!

Zentar Reese will again tell you of his dreams of late, involving a great ice creature. He wants you to bring him the Star of Salisearaneen.

Faerie Protector
Travel to Salisearaneen (N) to kill the Faerie Protector (CONs lb). He will spawn near a large stone at the center of a little faerie village between 2 hills. If you know where the darkened, blighted ravine/valley (in the NE sector, near the PoD deathknight) is then the village is just a little to the n/w of that. When you get to the faerie willage, approach the druidic stone in the middle of the village. This will cause faeries to spawn and attack you. Afer defeating the faeries for a bit, a faerie protector will spawn. Kill him and loot the faerie crystal.
Once you have the faerie crystal, walk up to the stone and get the popup and you'll be able to place the crystal on the stone and withdraw the Star of Salisearaneen.

Return to Zentar, he sends you to a shady gnome merchant, Twindle Fizzmop, near the blacksmith area in Freeport, to buy the Gear of Hazoran. Twindle will initially charge you 8k tunar, but if you haggle you can get it for 5k. Return to Zentar.

Seal 3
Zentar will tell you that seals 1 & 2 have already been gathered by an ally of his, Oransan, a false druid of the Unkempt Wood. You need only gather the last two seals and report to him at a ruined tower north of the Snowblind Plains.

Head to Permafrost (N) to kill Frostborn III (CONs LB@49), and loot his sword. To find Frostborn III:
From the main entrance of Vox Castle (the bridge), fight past the ice giants and into the first intersection (or invis past). Proceed straight ahead at the intersection and you will come immediately to a large room full of goblins. Wizards/Shamans see through invis! Frostborn III roams throughout these halls off the main room. Keep nukes saved until the end, as he sows and runs at 2 reds; you can quickly be killed by chasing him and getting added.

Take Frostborn III's sword and find the ice throne room, and drive his sword into the ice throne. Frostborn II will spawn, kill and loot Frostcleaver (3/4 seals needed).

Directions: You can find the ice throne and Frostborn II by exiting the castle and going to the side entrance that is guarded by giants. Invis your group and proceed in. If you stick to the left all the way, you will come to a hallway that appears to be a dead end. But it is in fact a cloth curtain that covers the hallway. When you pass through the curtain invis will be useless, and you will be faced with a Voxite Mage (CONs Yel to Red). Do not loot these when you kill them or they will respawn and cause you trouble. After, clearing that room, invis again, and proceed through the back exit. From the back exit, proceed through the room, and into the throne room. Once in the throne room\ move immediately to the wall at the foot of the throne. Have the person holding the sword from Frostborn III walk up to the throne. A pop-up will appear and if you respond that you are ready and place the sword into the slot, Frostborn II (CONs yellow@49) will spawn. Kill, loot Frostcleaver (the third of FOUR seals you need), and RH out, or fight you way out.

Seal 4
Go to Anu Village (NE), in the north wall of the zone, there is a broken bridge and the remains of a fort built into the wall. This is the castle of the Unnamed King. The area starts with a downward tunnel, which ends in ankle deep water. Invis everyone before entering or you will agro the many undead archers and skeletons there.

Once inside, you will need to move to the right side to exit the water area, and then across to the left side to go up the platform. Once you are there, you will see a downward ramp in the middle of the room. Go down this ramp. Once you reach the bottom of the ramp, you will be safe in case invis drops, but do not proceed off of the ramp and into the big room yet.

In this big room area there is a raised Dias in the center. You will see a few mobs (CONs red@49) there. Both Tolo Grimsteel and Ganron Lorebane must be killed and their gems looted in order to call forth the Unnamed King. Once done, move the group to the back right corner (as you face in from the ramp). Have the Quester move to the center back and approach a column there. They will receive a pop-up and the Unnamed King (CONs yellow@49) will appear. Kill the king and loot the unnamed crown (4/4 seals needed).

You are now ready for the final stage, to tackle Parathior.

PARATHIOR

Bring all four seals to Oransan at the broken tower against the north wall next to a dark broken pillar in the Snowblind Plains (N) (just west of the bear cave). Once Oransan has the seals he will begin the ritual to summon forth Parathior as well as spawn the elder druid Orinas (in bear form). It will take about five minutes for Parathior to spawn. He will drop from the sky and appear up on the mountainside and slowly walk down and attack.

Immediately speak to the bear Orinas and choose your Epic weapons and then prepare to fight.

Your group should stay down the hill behind the tree to avoid the Aoe. Kill Parathior and loot an ice chunk.

QUEST COMPLETION
Return to Zentar. He will send you to an NPC (diff for all classes) to determine what your Lvl 49 Path ability will be. Pay attention to who he sends you to!

Your NPC will congratulate you and send you on a small task. Your task will be to visit three people. These people represent your 20, 30 and 40 quests. Each will give you a note of approval naming the path ability you chose at 20, 30 and 40 respectively. Once you have all of these notes, return to this NPC for your choice of lvl 49 path specific ability.
*Warriors: Anu Village, speak with the 4 warlords standing among some sontes in Anu Village (SW)
*Shamans: Guardian Forest (E), Elder Gabgug, he is in the circle of druid rocks with blue mist.
*Alchemist: Brindy Roro in Highpass; he sends you to 3 npcs in the next room over (they stand in different corners)

You will receive 45,558,313 xp, your path ability and:
Alchemist:
Shaman: epic spear OR epic club
Warrior: epic great axe OR epic longsword
Wizard: epic rod OR epic staff

Level 30 Path Quest note: If Slavemaster Hern will not talk to you then you have previously ruined your faction with Caer Sloth by xping at Siloths. You must regain your faction to -99 before he will speak with you, so that you can continue your path quest. Farm Darkwood Goblins s/w of Darvor Manor in Alseop's Wall. Each dead goblin is +1 with Caer Sloth...it may take a while.
